Linked Roles

Discord Linked-Role connections grant a role upon linking and displaying a Minecraft badge on a member profile natively over OAuth2. It is an amazing way for your community to flex their in-game status directly in their Discord "Connections" tab.

Setup

To set this up via OAuth2, instead of manually running /account connect, members will navigate to your server's settings menu or click on an existing user's Linked Role banner.

  1. As a Discord Admin, go to Server Settings > Roles > Linked Roles and configure the role requirements. Look for the "MC Linker" connection.
  2. In-game characters are authorized, meaning the link is fully secure.
  3. Users click the Role to open their Connections settings, linking their Minecraft character.
  4. They log into their server and use /verify when prompted safely.

Permissions
