Connect
1. Invite the Bot
Invite the MC Linker Discord bot from the App Directory or from Top.gg. Install it to the Discord server you want to connect to your Minecraft server.
2. Download and Install the Plugin / Mod
To connect your server to the bot, you first need to install the Discord-Linker plugin/mod on your server. The mod supports Spigot (1.8+), Fabric (1.16.5+), Forge (1.16.5+), and NeoForge (1.21.11+).
You can download it from:
Once downloaded, place it in your plugins (Spigot/Paper) or mods (Fabric/Forge) folder. Restart your server.
3. Connecting your Server
Now execute /connect plugin slash-command in the Discord server you want to connect. This will give you a pairing command you need to execute in your Minecraft server's console or chat (as an OP).
Upon executing /linker connect ... in your server, the plugin will finalize establishing the connection and the message inside Discord will be updated.
Tips
If running from the console, do not include the / prefix! Example: linker connect ...
Permissions
- Discord: Administrator default This is the default permission. You can configure it via Discord's Integrations menu.
